Dripping with the Power of Her Flesh is my favourite NTT release, and probably my favourite Power Electronics release in general. Even if you don't like Noise, this is fairly accessible, and definately worth a look in.

DJ Scotch Egg
DJ Scotch Egg's second album. It's less fun, because he got all serious and stopped beating up giant chickens, but there's still a few good tracks on here, and it's definately worth a listen. For those of you that don't know, DJ Scotch Egg makes Gabba/Noise on an old Gameboy, and often throws scotch eggs at audience members.

Hahaha
COUNTRY: Canada (Quebec)
ALBUM: Ad Nauseam
GENRE: Black Metal
Notes:
You Baka Gaijins didn't think I turned into a weeaboo did you? I still hate animes so that excludes me from being a weeaboo.
Anyway, Monarque re-released the Ad Nauseam demo with a three new tracks and this shit is awesome! What did you expect, Monarque from the Quebecois scene after all.
Pure Hateful Black Metal with a bunch of melodies thrown in the mix.
MIDORI IS BACK!
COUNTRY: Japan
ALBUM: Swing
GENRE: Noise / Jazz / Hardcore / Experimental
Notes:
Midori is back with a new single which is under the label Sony Japan (Long Live the Sony!)
Quite frankly, I wasn't that much impressed. The full blown mindless mayhem found on their previous albums (and EP) kind of toned down. Hopefully this isn't an indication of the band's shift to a more accesible sound.
The Discography can be found here and in the Demiphoenix blog. Well, it is basically the same links.
The above cover is for the Standard edition while the one below this is the DVD edition.
This is simply awesome
COUNTRY: Empire of Japan
ALBUM: Girls in the White Dream
GENRE: Post-Rock
Notes:
An all female Post-Rock band from Japan. as opposed to explosions, MONO, godspeed or halda. The band doesn't need to build up any sonic climax for the listener. this is musical bliss without the eargasm.
Water Fai are a Japanese psychedelic-pop band, formed in Osaka in 2002. These four women dynamically contrast intricate melodies and soft harmonies with violent guitar-noise and electronic effects. They bring a much needed feminine approach to the post-rock genre that is so often dominated by male artists (and their biggest influences) like Mogwai and Tortoise. They bring their own translation of the sentimentality captured best by The Album Leaf and Yo La Tengo.

Northern State
Northern State are constantly billed as 'the female Beastie Boys,' not an unfair tag when one considers the similarities between the bands; the humour, the New York-iness, the Jewishness. However, this all-female crew have something more in common with fellow Nassau county natives Public Enemy, in that their raps tend to be more politically informed, even if it is thrown in between a stupid jokes about how gangsta they are. Pitchfork and most other reviews have been rather... harsh on Northern State, mentioning that they essentially exist in a vacuum with their female, indie-based rap, and that it's really only their own self-confidence that gets them by. However, I personally enjoy it, even though they are 'C-grade rappers.' There's something so positive and cheerful about this band that manages to force its way through the sometimes faltering musicianship, and they're definately worth a listen, especially you, Steel Lord.

Sleater-Kinney
All Hangs on the Bad One is another solid album from Sleater-Kinney. Tracks like Ballad of a Ladyman, You're No Rock and Roll Fun and All Hands on the Bad One showing a more Indie-orinetated side than on other albums. Still, the powerful vocal and guitar perfomances are back all the same, and the album is irresistable. This one may not have you drawing Anarchy symbols all over your desk at school, but it might have you singing into a hairbush at home...
