Audioslave
A band that really needs no introduction. Everybody has heard of these guys, a staple at parties, just a popular one to listen to when going down the road. I offer up their Self titled album.
A hard rock supergroup, Audioslave consists of Ex-Soundgarden frontman and rhythm guitarist Chris Cornell along with the instrumentals from Rage Against the Machine. It's cool cause no samplings were used, all sounds on all their albums are made by their instruments.
Jesus at the back door, everything is alright.
David Allan Coe
It's been a while, brothers. I come back to you from the Wilderness of North America with a humble offering from the Southland.
David Allan Coe. What can I say? The country man that was so metal. Known for his x-rated albums and his sometimes rank subject matter, David Allan Coe is an essential addition to the collection of any fan of outlaw country, southern rock, even some of the bluesier varieties of sludge metal. DAC is one bad mother fucker, as you can tell from such songs are Long Haired Redneck, Son of the South, and Willie, Waylon, and Me.
Musically, David has a very strong voice that he can tune to a lot of different sounds. From the mournful You Never Even Called Me By My Name to the gospel Would You Lay With Me (In a Field of Stone) and then to the biting honky tonk sound of Long Haired Redneck.
Greatest Hits.
Well, I was drunk the day my Mom got outta prison.
And I went to pick her up in the rain.
But, before I could get to the station in my pickup truck
She got runned over by a damned old train.

Blood Ceremony
"Now Astaroth's ship sets sail across the sky
Through Saturn's yawning hail, and into the eye
Black magic rites profane
Wizards are oft' to blame"

Blood Ceremony is a Female fronted doom band from Canada. I just got this album two days ago and I've already listened to it like 6 or 7 times. Think Black Sabbath meets Jethro Tull (the vocalist plays both flute and organ on this album). I highly suggest this to any doom fan.

The Nation of Ulysses - 13-Point Program to Destroy America
The road to hell is paved with chocolate treats
Hey kids! Do you like punk rock? Do you like it raucous and rowdy? Then have I got an album for you!
The Nation of Ulysses were a band from Washington D.C. who had some crazy ideas about how music from the '60s and '70s was shit, that actually knowing how to play your instruments made you poseurs, that old people sucked, and that punks should make an effort to dress nice.
This, their debut album, has 16 tracks of punchy punk numbers crammed full of ludicrously radical left-wing lyrics, so if you like that kind of thing then this is kind of thing that you will like. Enjoy!

Bathory - Blood Fire Death
The elder among the men looked deep into the fire
and spoke loud with pride:
"Tomorrow is a fine day to die"
and spoke loud with pride:
"Tomorrow is a fine day to die"
Blood Fire Death is Bathory's finest hour. An album of relentlessly epic thrashy black metal dripping with Norse paganism, this album is widely considered the birth of the Viking Metal genre. It's a metal essential.
