I bring you Johnny Hollow. This band is nothing short of amazing. It mixes electronic ambiance with gothic and darkwave melody. Kitty Thompson plays the cello, and uses it in conjunction with several effects pedals. Janine White displays her beautiful yet haunting vocals over Vincent Marcone's electronic handiwork. The group produces a unique sound which is "sometimes uplifting and, at other times, deeply oppressive"(Urptsukidojis Pad webzine). This band is perfect for deep thought, creative inspiration, or even when you just feel the need for ambiance. If you like the group's sound, you should check out their website: designed by Marcone himself, it's every bit as breathtaking as the music.
