Talulah Gosh - Backwash

Talulah Gosh were a band from Oxford and one of the leading lights of the 'twee pop' (read: indie pop) movement. In addition, they influenced the Riot Grrrl movement, the sound of which can be heard on such tracks as Do You Remember. However, throughout their rather short career that only saw them release singles in a glut from '68-'88 they experimented with a lot of style, from the faux-innocence of their first singles to the punkier later work. This is a collection of their singles, radio sessions and other stuff, the most complete thing you can get from this sadly forgotten band.
