Kylesa

I offer up to the Gods of Metal, Kylesa. A Georgia sludge act that is a lot like Boris in the respect that they refuse to remain static, refuse to remain on one sound. I offer you Time Will Fuse Its Worth and To Walk A Middle Course. Both excellent albums.

Baroness

I humbly offer you the discography of Baroness. One of the kings of modern Sludge, from Savannah, Georgia. The members originally were from up in Virginia, but moved on down to Georgia to start up Baroness. Fronted by guitarist, artist, and vocalist John Dyer Baizley, Baroness features intelligent guitar work, eclectic stylings (in the vein of such fellow Georgia bands as Kylesa and Jucifer), and amazing musicianship. I personally recommend the entire discography, but if you want specific "get this one right fucking now" then I'd say go with Red Album, that's what I started off with. BUT, I'm also a big fan of First.

Audioslave

A band that really needs no introduction. Everybody has heard of these guys, a staple at parties, just a popular one to listen to when going down the road. I offer up their Self titled album.

A hard rock supergroup, Audioslave consists of Ex-Soundgarden frontman and rhythm guitarist Chris Cornell along with the instrumentals from Rage Against the Machine. It's cool cause no samplings were used, all sounds on all their albums are made by their instruments.

Jesus at the back door, everything is alright.

Guns N' Roses

For anyone who still gives a shit about Guns N Roses. I have to admit, I stopped listening to the gunners for a long fucking time. Why? Because Axl Rose is the biggest asshole in existence. Then I realized it's hypocritical to not listen to GNR for that reason yet still listen to KISS. So here we are.

So classic rock band, a very skilled guitarist by the name of Slash, a decent bassist (and sometimes vocalist) named Duff, a drummer who I don't know the name of, and of course their singer (who is actually very good) Axl. So I have here Greatest Hits, Appetite for Destruction and 'The Spaghetti Incident?' all zipped up into a convenient package.
