Saxon - Into The Labyrinth

I had a proper review all typed up here, but Firefox crashed while I was uploading the album cover and I lost it. Fuck. Now you only get one short paragraph because I'm all pissed off now.
This is Saxon's new album. It's pretty decent, but not as good as Wheel Of Steel or Denim & Leather. If you like Saxon, you will probably like it. If you don't like Saxon we can't be friends. Now either download it or leave.

Isis

Sorry, instead of posting this earlyer tonight, I went out and got really drunk. Isis is seen by many as the head of the post rock sludge world, I got into them a while ago when I thought I was seeing Jesu live (but they had visa problems and could not make it) and Isis so happen to be headlining. I bring forth three releases of there's. First, The Red Sea, a Ep released in there early days, much more raw and sludgy, very heavy. The other two, Oceanic and Panopticon are your more standard post rock sluge stuff. This one goes out to my nigga hollow point, who needs some Isis.

Drunk HKM OUT!

Guns N' Roses

For anyone who still gives a shit about Guns N Roses. I have to admit, I stopped listening to the gunners for a long fucking time. Why? Because Axl Rose is the biggest asshole in existence. Then I realized it's hypocritical to not listen to GNR for that reason yet still listen to KISS. So here we are.

So classic rock band, a very skilled guitarist by the name of Slash, a decent bassist (and sometimes vocalist) named Duff, a drummer who I don't know the name of, and of course their singer (who is actually very good) Axl. So I have here Greatest Hits, Appetite for Destruction and 'The Spaghetti Incident?' all zipped up into a convenient package.

Acid Witch

Acid Witch is a Death/Doom/Psychedelic band that plays shit that reminds me of Ahab, if Ahab were using LSD. It's this fuzzed out psychedelic brand of doom that is fucking mega. Witchantic Hellucinations is a set of 13 terrible tales as dark and doomy as the brew in the Witch's cauldron. Don't go into this album expecting something like Reverend Bizarre, that kind of clean doom that you can listen to for several hours straight without any adverse effects. This shit is Doom metal in the vein of Black Sabbath's famous self titled song. It's gory horrid music in the vein of some of our favorite death metal bands, it's doom in the vein of Sabbath's early work, and it's psychedelia in the vein of Deep Purple and Pink Floyd. The guitars are masterful, catchy riffs, they use the keyboard well, without over doing it.

Do Make Say Think - You, You're A History In Rust

Artist: Do Make Say Think
Album: You, You're A History In Rust
Genre: Post-Rock
Website: http://www.domakesaythink.com/

"Do Make Say Think is a Canadian instrumental post-rock band from Toronto, Ontario. Their music combines jazz style drums and space style electronic effects, distorted guitars and wind instruments as well as a prominent use of the bass guitar.

The band formed in 1995 as a recording project for a Canadian youth dramatic production. They rehearsed for the production in an empty elementary school room. The four simple verbs 'Do', 'Make', 'Say' and 'Think' were painted on walls of the room, and the band adopted them as their name. In 1996, the band progressed as they practiced in the rehearsal room in the basement of the University of Toronto radio station CIUT."
